About this Blog

This blog is an experiment.

We intend to track the journey of a world-class health care system as it continuously improves to serve its members.

Lee Fried is a LEAN consultant.

Ted Eytan is a physician and medical director in the informatics arena.

We both work for the Group Health Cooperative non-profit care system in Seattle, Washington. From October, 2007 to April, 2008, Ted is on sabbatical in our nation’s capital.

    Lee/Ted,

    This is one of the best sites I have seen in a long time, thank you.

    I’ve been debating on starting a BLOG as well. Would either of you be willing to share how to get started on setting something like this up? I’m also curious about the “care and feeding” of such a site.
